How do they work?
WiccanWeb.ca displays banners (graphic advertisements of businesses) at the top of all pages. Impressions, the number of times your Ad appears on the site, can be purchased in varying quantities. The more impressions you have, the more your banner advert will be viewed by website users. Who sees them?
Pagan/Wiccan/New Age/Spiritually-minded Canadians. We have over 3000 active, registered members and climbing, and have received over 11 million page views (averaging more than 10,000 a day) since the website's construction. Those with businesses that provide relevant services, merchandise, and information to the pagan community in Canada. This can range from purely online stores, stores with locations and websites, local stores with no websites, craftsmen/women, and services: divination, healing, aromatherapy, herbalists, clergy…etc. How does this benefit my business?
Graphics advertising your business or service allow site users to link to your website and find out more about your business. The purpose of WiccanWeb.ca is to connect Canadian pagans with each other and their local resources including local pagan shops and services. By having a banner up on our site you are giving your own business exposure and possible new customers, as well as providing a valuable resource to Canadian pagans. What are your rates?
Options for having banner ads on WiccanWeb.ca are: - Free 5,000 impressions for a link to us from your website
- Introductory offer of $1.00 CAN for 10,000 impressions
- 100,000 impressions for $100 CAN
- You can have more than 1 banner and spread impressions over them at no additional charge
It's a very fair return for the amount and would provide a valuable service to Canadian pagans. Payment can be made by cheque, Interac or PayPal by simply using the Donation function located on the Main page (Please include contact information in Payment note). What kind of banners do you accept?
Banners need to be 468x60 pixel .jpg or .gif graphics files with a website to link the graphic to. If your business or service does not have a website, you can have a static banner with your location and contact information. We can even host a page for you on the site so people can get more detailed information about your services. I’m a business/service with a website, but I don’t have a banner, how do I get one?
You hire a Web or Graphic Designer to create on for you. The nicer the banner advert, the more likely a site user is to click on it. Who do I contact to get my banner added to the site?
